  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows 1 10oz bag
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup white candy melts or white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 Cup Dried cranberries for decoration

Instructions
 

  • Melt the butter in a large pot over medium low heat.
  • Add the marshmallows and stir until melted. Stir constantly to prevent it from burning
  • Pour in the puffed rice cereal and stir until evenly coated
  • Dump the marshmallow cereal mixture on to a piece of large parchment paper. Use a second piece of parchment paper to press down the cereal to about a 1/2 inch to 1 inch thickness (depending on your preference).
  • Let it cool for 5-10 minutes and then use a Christmas tree cookie cutter to cut out tree shapes.

Decorate the Trees

  • Melt the white chocolate melts in a microwave safe bowl, per the instructions on the package.
  • Add the melted chocolate to a piping bag and drizzle the melted chocolate over the trees.
