Servings 12 Cookies

Equipment

  • 1 Cookie Sheet

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Oreo flavored refrigerated cookie dough
  • 12 Marshmallows
  • 12 Pieces Chocolate One Hersey's bar

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven as directed on the Oreo cookie dough package, and bake the cookies according to the instructions.
  • Place a marshmallow on top of each cookie. Switch your oven to the broiler setting and place the cookies back in the oven for about 1 minute, or until the marshmallows are golden brown on top. Keep a close eye on them—marshmallows brown quickly under the broiler!
  • Take the cookies out and press a piece of chocolate onto each marshmallow. Return the cookies to the oven for just 10 seconds to help the chocolate melt slightly and stick to the marshmallow.
  • Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!

Notes

This recipe is so versatile! Try these add-ons if you want to take your S’mores Cookies to the next level:
  • Add Graham Cracker Crumbs: Sprinkle a few graham cracker pieces or crumbs on top of the marshmallow before you add the chocolate for an extra “s’mores” feel.
  • Switch Up the Chocolate: If you’re feeling adventurous, try using peanut butter cups, dark chocolate, or even caramel-filled chocolate squares instead of classic milk chocolate.
  • Mini Marshmallows: If you want an extra gooey topping, you can swap the large marshmallow for a handful of mini marshmallows instead. If you do this, line your baking sheet with parchment paper in case the marshmallows roll off.
